Short Course registration is not included in the conference registration fee schedule above and is an additional cost. You may add Short Courses to your conference registration at any time. Short Courses will be held on Saturday, January 30, and Sunday, January 31, 2027.

SLAS is pleased to offer deeply discounted registration to students. Students should be prepared to upload a copy of their valid and current student ID at the time of registration. Student registrations will not be confirmed until a valid copy of the student ID is received by SLAS. See the registration grid above for student registration pricing. The SLAS Corporate Partner Student Support Program provides free Student membership for 2027, see SLAS Membership for more information.

Note: Student conference registration does not include Short Course registration; a discounted rate for Short Courses is available to students.

Complimentary registration is available upon request and qualification for currently unemployed individuals wishing to attend SLAS2027. The waiver request is available using the online form. Once the individual application is reviewed and approved, the Registration Manager will provide a code to be used for complimentary registration within 7-10 business days. Fee waiver is for conference registration fee only. Short courses and other add-on options are an additional fee.

In order to register at the discounted rate(s) as noted above, SLAS must receive all registration forms and payment by the appropriate date, as listed below. Registrations are not honored until payment is received.

*If your SLAS membership expires on December 31, 2026, you must renew your membership prior to taking advantage of the member discounts for the conference. You may renew your membership during the conference registration process.

SLAS2027 Attendee Substitution/Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Requests: SLAS will not issue refunds after registration is completed. All registration sales are final at the time of purchase.

Substitutions: One substitution per registrant is permitted on or before January 20, 2027. A $50 processing fee applies. After January 20, 2027, no substitutions will be granted. To request a substitution, the original registrant must email slasreg@discoversb.com and submit payment within 72 hours upon request. Requests without timely payment will be canceled and must be resubmitted. Once processed, the substitute registrant will be responsible for updating their personal details and other registration form data. SLAS membership purchased with the original registration remains with the original registrant.

Changes to Registration Type: Those wishing to change their registration type must contact SLAS2027 Registration at slasreg@discoversb.com. Applicable pricing will be applied to upgraded registrations. Downgrading your registration type (Full Conference to Exhibition Only) is not permitted.

SLAS2027 Exhibitor Substitution/Cancellation Policy

Substitutions: Exhibitor badge substitutions are permitted on or before January 20, 2027. After January 20, 2027, no substitutions will be granted. Substitutions may be done via the Exhibitor Portal by your booth administrator.

Changes to Registration Type: Exhibitors wishing to change their registration type must contact their booth administrator. You can change your complimentary registration (Complimentary Exhibitor Full Conference or Complimentary Exhibitor Booth Personnel) at no charge. Downgrading your paid registration (Exhibitor Full Conference to Exhibitor Booth Personnel) is not permitted.

Online registration for SLAS2027 is the only advance registration method as it allows for immediate confirmation and secure payment processing. All conference registration information, including credit card information, is handled by a secure server.

Payments: A credit card is required to complete your registration and is the only method of payment accepted. The list of credit cards accepted are American Express, Visa, MasterCard and Discover.

Registration Confirmation
Participants who register online will receive a confirmation e-mail immediately upon successful completion of the registration; if you do not receive a confirmation, please email SLAS2027 Registration.

During the online registration process, you will have the option to request a Visa Letter of Invitation. You must first register — paying any applicable registration fees – before you can request a letter of invitation. You will receive the letter via email 48-72 hours after you complete and pay for your registration and complete the letter request form. In order to request a Visa Letter of Invitation, you will be required to submit the following information:

• Passport Expiration Date (MM/DD/YYYY)
• Passport Country of Issue
• Name as it Appears on Your Passport

SLAS recommends that all Letter requests be made as early as possible due to the current Visa application processing schedule.

Badges will not be mailed in advance of SLAS2027. Please bring your photo ID to SLAS2027 to pick up your badge. Each individual must pick up their own badge and provide photo ID.

Badge Sharing: Sharing of registration badges is not permitted at any time before or during the event. Badges are issued to, can be picked up and used only by the Attendee named in the registration record confirmed by SLAS. Sharing of badges against this policy will result in removal from the event, loss of current and future registration and exhibitor privileges.

BADGE REPRINT: A non-refundable $250 fee will be charged for the replacement of lost, forgotten, or stolen badges. Replacements of damaged or incorrect badges will not be charged a reprint fee when the damaged or incorrect badge is surrendered at registration. A valid photo ID must be presented to obtain a reprinted badge.

BADGE PICK UP HOURS: You must pick up your credentials and badge holder prior to entering the conference and/or exhibition. Badge Pickup will be available in the Sails Pavilion of the San Diego Convention Center during these days/times:

• Friday, January 29 — 8:00 a.m.- 6:00 p.m.
• Saturday, January 30 — 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
• Sunday, January 31 — 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
• Monday, February 1 — 7:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
• Tuesday, February 2 — 7:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
• Wednesday, February 3 — 7:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

ATTENTION EXHIBITORS: IF YOU REQUIRE ACCESS TO THE EXHIBIT HALL BEFORE 10 AM ON MONDAY, FEBRUARY 1, IT IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED YOU PICK UP YOUR BADGE BEFORE MONDAY.

Suitcasing is defined as any activity intended to solicit business, promote products or services, or distribute materials to event participants without prior written authorization from SLAS. Only confirmed exhibitors and sponsors are permitted to engage in sales or promotional activity at the Event. Any individual observed soliciting business in event spaces (including aisles, public areas, meeting rooms, or another company’s exhibit booth) in violation of this policy may be subject to immediate removal from the Event without refund. SLAS reserves the right to impose additional sanctions, including denial of participation in future SLAS events.
