SLAS CEO Vicki Loise Appointed Secretary-Treasurer of Association Forum

Oak Brook, IL (April 4, 2024) – SLAS is pleased to announce that its CEO Vicki Loise, CMP, CAE, has been appointed Secretary-Treasurer of the Association Forum Board of Directors.

Founded in 1916, Association Forum serves Chicago by providing resources and learning opportunities that support the development of association management professionals. Today, the organization has more than 2,500 members across 1,600 Chicago organizations.

Loise has been an active volunteer for Association Forum for over two decades. She’s held various positions, such as a member of the Nominating Committee, Women’s Executive Forum Committee and chair of the Holiday Showcase Committee, and served one term on the Board before being appointed secretary-treasurer. Her commitment and dedication demonstrate her passion for the organization's mission, making her a natural fit for the position of Secretary-Treasurer.

“I am honored and excited to serve as the Secretary-Treasurer for Association Forum of Chicagoland,” says Loise. “This organization has been pivotal in guiding me through my career since I started in association management in 1991. And now I have the privilege of working to make sure it supports the Chicagoland association community for many, many years to come.”

As Secretary-Treasurer, Loise will serve as a member of executive committee and chair of the Finance Committee to support the Board in its strategic initiatives. The one-year term will conclude in 2025, when she will advance to the Vice President position, and then serve as the organization’s President in 2026.
