From mixers to exclusive Mentor Match opportunities, there are events designed for the sole purpose of ensuring student and early career attendees can engage with like-minded colleagues and seasoned scientists and technology professionals.
Sign up for FREE one-on-one Mentor Match sessions with industry professionals. The popular year-round mentoring program will hold in person and virtual 45-minute sessions during exhibition hours on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday in private booths located within the SLAS Booth. Connect with mentors of various disciplines ahead of the meeting or set up an online meeting. Sign up soon, these slots will fill up quickly!

Network and mingle with other young professionals and aspiring researchers in the friendly confines of the SLAS Booth in the Exhibition. Complimentary beverages and snacks will be provided. Members of the SLAS Student and Early Career Professional Membership Committee will be there to answer any questions you may have!

Re:mix Lounge/Aloft Hotel
After the close of the Exhibit Hall, all student and early career attendees are invited to walk over to The Re:mix Lounge in the Aloft Hotel for games and fun interaction with fellow SLAS2022 attendees. Catch up with friends and make new ones while enjoying board games, food and drink and FUN! SLAS will provide complimentary hors d'oeuvres and soft drinks, and a cash bar is available for those 21 and older. The Aloft Hotel is located within walking distance from the Boston Convention Center, at 401-403 D Street. This event is FREE to all Student and Early Career attendees; however registration is required.

SLAS has 14 Special Interest Groups, with engaged volunteers at the helm of each one. Stop by the SLAS Booth on Tuesday during the reception in the Exhibition Hall at 6:00 p.m. to meet with the Chairs and learn more about the SIG program. NEW this year! Come join your fellow student attendees at a special SLAS Student Focus Group during lunch on Tuesday. SLAS wants to hear what YOU want from the organization. Learn more about SLAS and its various awards, grants, ways to contribute and more. There will be an interactive survey and there will be a chance to win prizes!
Stop by the interactive job board kiosks in the Career Connections section of the SLAS Booth. Job seekers and employers can search by keywords or location, browse or post available jobs and post resumes for potential employers prior to or onsite.
