Meet the Mentors

Darren Carside is customer service and success & automation consultant with more than 20 years of experience in the customer-centric solutions primarily in the global life sciences market. As a consultant, he aims to respond to customer needs by developing and implementing customer-focused and centric solutions. Garside received his degree from the University of Huddersfield and has experience with companies such as HighRes Biosolutions and RTS.

Enrique Hernandez Jimenez received his Ph.D. from the La Paz Hospital (Spain) and is currently the CEO of Loop Diagnostics S.L., a microbiological diagnostic startup dedicated to creating the first rapid test that identifies bacterial infections in the blood through immune activity. Jimenez integrates his expertise, entrepreneurial spirit and a commitment to creating impactful solutions for healthcare challenges.

Susanne Weissenborn is a Principal Scientist in Workflow Automation at Roche (Switzerland) and has close to 15 years of experience. She received her master’s degree in molecular bioengineering from the Technische Universität Dresden (Germany) and is currently working an MBA candidate at the Warwick Business School (England). Weissenborn has previously worked at Hamilton and the Max Plank Institute.

Vladislav Zarayskiy, Ph.D. is the Senior Director of Sample Management, Automation and High-Throughput Assays at Monte Rosa Therapeutics (USA and Switzerland). He is an accomplished cellular biology and enthusiastic problem-solver with many years of industry experience in automation, screening and assay development across oncology, neuroscience, and immunology. Zarayskiy received his Ph.D. in biophysics from the University of Buffalo (USA).
