The Mövenpick breakfast buffet is included in this rate for single occupancy and is available from 6.30 am until 10.30 am in the restaurant PURO on the first floor.

About the Mövenpick Hotel Basel

The Mövenpick Hotel Basel is located approximately 5 km from the SLAS-FHNW 2023 Data Science and AI Symposium event venue, FHNW University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland. To get to the event venue from the  Mövenpick Hotel Basel, you may take a 15-minute tram ride on the Orange 14 ( direction: Pratteln, Schlossstrasse) from Basel, Aeschenplatz to Muttenz, Zum Park. You may find additional transit information on the BASLER VERKEHRS-BETRIEBE website. 

All guests receive the Basel Card upon check-in to the Mövenpick Hotel Basel. Free benefits are the use of public transportation and 17 WIFI hotspots in the city. While other hotel resellers may contact you to offer housing for your trip, they are not endorsed by or affiliated with the show. AIRPORT AND GROUND TRANSPORTATION 

Airport
The nearest airport is EuroAirport Basel–Mulhouse–Freiburg Airport, 3.7 miles from Mövenpick Hotel Basel. There is a direct bus No. 50 that runs between the airport Basel-Mulhouse and Basel SBB station. This bus is free of charge for guests of the Mövenpick Hotel Basel.

You may also travel from Zurich Airport, the largest airport in Switzerland. The trip from Zurich Airport to the Mövenpick Hotel Basel is about 1.5 – 2 hours via Rail. You may view this step-by-step tutorial on traveling from Zurich Airport to Basel.

Rail
The Mövenpick Hotel Basel is very centrally located at Basel’s main railway station SBB (about a 2-minute walk from the hotel). From here you can reach the old town.  

Car Park
There is a car park in the basement of the hotel. Parking is CHF 35.00 for overnight parking and CHF 20.00 for daily parking.
