During this challenging time, Radisson Hotels seeks to make each guest feel safe and secure. They’ve partnered with SGS to create a 20-step cleaning and safety protocol to address the health issues that are important to you while you travel. Their hotels are employing disinfection and cleaning procedures to keep guest rooms and public spaces to the highest standard of cleanliness.

• Main measures: Implement physical distancing measures throughout the hotel. Improve air circulation processes to increase air quality.
• Door hangers: Display door hanger with cleaning and disinfecting information.
• Increase cleaning and disinfecting: Increase cleaning and disinfection frequency of all hotel areas, paying special attention to high-touch items.
• Disinfect box: Place a “disinfect box" in meeting rooms for used stationary items and disinfect them after events.
• Sanitizing stations: Install stations with alcohol-based hand sanitizer and gloves in hotel public areas and meeting and event spaces.
• Clean and Clean Again: Increase the frequency of cleaning public areas.
• Guest-Accessible Disinfecting Wipes: Provide stations at primary entrances and key high traffic areas, for instance, a station to allow guests to wipe the elevator button before pressing.
• Check-In & Express Check-out: Install protective screens at the front desk. Provide an express check-out process to minimize contact with team members. Offer cash-free methods of payment.
• Food safety: Offer individually packaged and other grab-and-go food options. Space tables apart in restaurants and bars to provide physical distancing. Adhere to the strict safety procedures while serving all food and beverages.

To provide a safe and clean environment for the conference, Radisson also implemented a 10-step process to thoroughly sanitize their hotel meeting spaces and to follow physical distancing protocols.

While other hotel resellers may contact you offering housing for your trip, they are not endorsed by or affiliated with the SLAS European Sample Management Symposium. Beware that entering into financial agreements with non-endorsed companies can have costly consequences.

Airport and Ground Transportation

The Radisson Collection Hotel, Berlin is easy to reach from the airport and train station. 

Bus and Trams
Bus numbers 100 and 200 and tram numbers M4, M5 and M6 depart just around the corner at the Spandauer Strasse/Marienkirche stop (50 meters from the hotel).

Metro Stations
The S-Bahn is a short walk away, with the nearest stops at either Alexanderplatz (S5, S7, S75, U8, U2, U5, Regional Express train, Airport Express train) or Hackescher Market (S5, S7, S75).

Train Stations
The nearest stations are Ostbahnhof (2.4 km) and Hauptbahnhof, Berlin’s Central station (3 km).
